I'd tell them. It's in my nature to be kind to others even though they tend to either annoy me or treat me like shit, which is one of the reason why people tend to take advantage of me. The only times I let someone "suffer" without telling them are with my siblings; it's like sibling nature to do that to one another. But when it is in public, I don't do that. I love them too much to do that.

A more comfortable life for my parents than the ones they have now. I mean, sure we have money but that is due to their hard work and earnings, just so they could provide us children with a more comfortable life than they had. I know I hadn't been a great daughter (I'm not just saying...they told me too) but I really do want to give back what they gave me and more.

And I wouldn't mind starting a family of my own....maybe a husband if I can ever get one. Life gets a bit lonely when you are single (though I'd never admit it aloud).

Those are the specifics but in general, Health Wealth and Happiness is all that I wish for them.

i'm not friends with my parents but that doesn't mean anything because i love them more than anything or anybody in this world. i would choose them over anything. family is important to me.

Hmm, probably not following my passion but then again, back then I didn't know music or singing was my passion back then.... I knew I was very artistic. I LOVED art and singing and music and playing the piano but never thought about it as a career because I had always been told that you can't do much in the entertainment business so go do something science (so typical of an Asian family) and it'll give you a stable job.

So now I am stuck in science and at the moment I'm trying to find the middle path between science and "artsy" like ....which is dentistry and so far.... I think I'm liking it.

I'm gonna be blunt.

My grandma has stomach cancer and supposedly it's "not looking good" according to the doctors said my mom recently. I want to know what "not looking good" means. I'd really wished I was present so I can help interpret.

My family really sucks in communication. Pissing me off.

I'll be married to a wonderful handsome guy and have at least one child OR have been married for two or more years. Also, I'll be practicing dentistry and hopefully as an oral surgeon....and of course, with my own successful practice as well as frequent visits to the neighboring hospital.

Complicated question....I don't have a significant other but if I do, he'll be my best friend first and then my partner. So based on that....friends?

Dude people...friends of mine on LJ....this guy makes pretty good music. His entire album is his creation. I love his songs especially his main song. BTW, he's a songwriter. If you pay attention to Chinese Music, he writes song for a lot of songs that became popular and for famous well respected singers like Liu De Hua 刘德华...and mainstream artists such as F4, Vanness Wu吴建豪, Wilbur Pan (for Henry Lau fans...the guy that Henry with his current hairstyle sometimes look like...^^) etc.

Here are some videos of him. You guys can't miss out on him. I think he is unique (he graduated from Douglas College British Columbia Canada in songwriting and piano.)

I like this song even though there is no actual instruments. It's all remix sounds and basically what he played with in the video on top. I find it unique and different from other songs. It's his One Man Band.



This is the main song. It's a modern version of an old Taiwanese song written by his father. And it takes about his father's hardship in being a songwriter back in the days (being looked down upon and his relationship with his mom not approved by the family) and the other half is about him. Some people comment in other videos that it sounds like a Korean style song. Haha, we Chinese people can write very catchy songs too = =;

Like him? No? Yes? I think he is definitely worth checking out. :D

When I make friends, I keep them close, meaning we are really close which results in me having not a lot of friends. But I would tell her. Not in blunt words in that "your boyfriend is cheating" but in what I saw or what I heard from others and that maybe she should look into it. Ignorance is bliss but it's not a good thing when it comes to situations like these. I rather have her know from words then from witnessing the act itself. I think the affect will be more detrimental in the post situation.

Okay, I've known them since last year. I knew that both are really good singers with very very very very strong vocals and they are a rare group: a rock duet, one girl & one guy. They debuted last year 2008 sometime in August and this is their Main Song. It's really really moving, especially the lyrics and in addition with their combined powerful vocals makes one shiver with emotions.

THIS is good music. I suggest everyone to check them out. Here's a live band video of them singing.




Man I love Taiwan. They have a lot of powerful singers. (i think i'm biased but...) They have good singers with strong vocals so I really hope that people can open their eyes and stop being stupid and say all Taiwanese singers are fake and only have looks (sorry old wound.)

BUT!

They are really really good don't you guys think? don't you? And they are so sweet on each other that it's cute. They love to bicker. It's fun to watch.

Okay, I have a really lame question that I just can't for the live of me figure out. I know LJ is blocked in China (right?) but I'm trying to figure out if it is blocked in Taiwan? I might be heading to Taiwan this summer and I want to know if there's access or do I need to create another blog.

Anyone know?

Se7en's US Official debut single MV is out!

I don't have much experience in relationships. In fact I have only been in one and that one was such a disaster. Not only was he narrow minded but he lacked any understanding on MY part. I felt like everything was about him and his feelings and that I wasn't worth his "care". Plus he was very childish and we broke up on bad terms and I haven't been in a relationship since nor have I "looked" at any guys.

It was stupid but he affected me and my life greatly and I would do ANYTHING to erase his stupid annoying existence from my mind.

So now I have an ideal guy in my mind and I know probably no one would fulfill those requirements. My last and first boyfriend made me feel like I was crap and not worth it. If anything, I want my REAL significant other to make me feel special and comfortable about the REAL me, making me feel cherished and protected...not just some kind of burden.

Depending how much I won, I would save the majority of the money, keep it in the bank and the rest of the money I would want to spend on myself, most probably on vocal lessons. I LOVE singing and I always wanted to learn how to sing well and as of right now, my voice is sucky so I never sing in front of people. So with the extra money, I would buy vocal lessons for myself instead of wasting my parent's money. Vocal lessons are so expensive, especially if you want a good coach.

I have never been to Korea and it'll be fun to visit that place just once despite the fact I do not know Korean nor can I read any of the words there. Haha.

Tokyo, Japan

I have been to Japan once....for a night because of plane transfer. But I would want to visit Japan for vacation. I want to experience the Japan lifestyle and their culture. I don't know much Japanese but I can read enough to get around :)

Beijing, China

I have been here three times already but it's never enough and each experience is different. I want to go with my friends though. Just my friends. It'll be fun.

Taipei, Taiwan

Ah, I haven't been back since a long time. My family's hometown...and the city with tons of stars :D The possibility of running into many Taiwanese Stars are so exciting and high since most of them aggregate in Taipei. HAHA. And I miss Taiwan.

indifferent. it's like any other day on the calender. nothing special.

I managed to catch it on time. Just when he started to chat. It was a bit fast and surprising...caught me completely off guard. Everyone was so excited that Henry was online and actually speaking. LOL. The reaction and responses were very cute and endearing.

I left a few messages in English but I don't think he was reading them at all...everything went by so fast that I don't think he was able to keep up with the speed of 30 messages/second. It was chaotic but they enjoyed it and I'm sure he did too. And his cousin helping type in Chinese made EVERY THING so much easier to read. It took forever to read his first message...I hate pinying =/

But yeah...though I keep this in my journal in case I forget about it harhar.
